About our Experts:
Dr. Sergei Tanygin
Dr. Sergei Tanygin is the senior astrodynamics specialist at AGI. Over the years, Sergei has made major contributions throughout STK including modeling of ephemeris, attitude and covariance, event and extremum finding, modeling of gravity, solar radiation pressure and atmospheric drag, sensor modeling and terrain analysis. Sergei received his B.S. with honors in Aerospace Control Systems from The Institute of Aerospace Technology. He earned his M.S. and Ph.D. in Dynamics and Control from the University of Cincinnati.
Patrick North is the Image and Computer Scientist supporting the development of Systems Tool Kit (STK) at AGI. For the last two years Patrick has led the recent development of STK/EOIR (Electro-Optical InfraRed). Patrick is an experienced and passionate scientist and engineer in the areas of image processing, remote sensing and software development. Patrick graduated from RIT with a BS in Computer Science and an MS in Imaging Science.
