No matter how you are implementing STK, there is a good chance you will need to integrate geospatial data
into your workflow. For instance, you may want to determine locations of analytical entities, or need to render a cartographically appealing base map onto the globe or would like to insert near real-time spatial feeds into a custom application.
For 21 years, STK has done a fantastic job at ISR analysis and visualization. The one challenge has been adding rich geospatial content into scenarios—whether it be gaining access to valuable GIS data or just incorporating it into the software. With the current revolution of data access in the GIS industry and innovative interfaces in STK, today it is as easy as drag and drop.
On Friday, December 3 at 12:00 p.m. (EST), AGI will give a live webinar
to show off this capability. Sean Boyer, AGI’s geospatial data subject matter expert, and I will review the capability, identify good sources of geospatial data and reveal some tips and tricks to make your geospatial data integration into STK easy. If you work with ArcGIS or KML, you won’t want to miss it, because those will be two of our key topics.
