DRAGON CRS-2 launch

By: RocketGirl
On Friday, March 1, a Falcon 9 launched from the Air Force Eastern Test Range in Florida carrying a Dragon resupply freighter to orbit. The Dragon spacecraft encountered an issue with it's thrusters shortly after launch. The issue was resolved and it has successfully docked with the International Space Station (ISS). Dragon is carrying cargo to the ISS including materials to support science experiments. The spacecraft is expected to return to Earth on March 25 carrying 3,000 tons of cargo from the station. The NORAD catalog (or SSC) number for this mission is 39115 and it is available in the STK satellite database. Stay up-to-date with the latest launches by subscribing to AGI's Launch Notifications.
