Throwback Thursday - Live on the Interwebs

By: agrow
Back in 1994, we proudly announced (in print, ironically!) that we were “now live on the Internet” at www.stk.com. Today we’re proud to say we’re still live on this magical information portal, but we’ve expanded our activities quite a bit. We have all the resources you’d ever need for using STK, including software downloads and licenses, training materials, how-to videos, forums, 3D models, plugins, utilities, terrain, imagery and code snippets. Our engineers also demonstrate using the software live every week during our STK DIY Series . Our software has changed quite a bit, too. Today, you could say our products are also “live on the Internet.” STK Server is used for creating, managing and distributing mission models and analytic services over the Web or enterprise network to support desktop and browser applications. The STK Data Federate is our online data management and collaboration tool. Cesium (cesium.agi.com) is a JavaScript library for creating 3D globes and 2D maps in a web browser without a plugin. Take a look at Cesium below showing a notional North Korea missile launch and detection.
