Esri Asia Pacific Users Conference 2012

By: mhonaker
Kia ora! Can you think of a better place to have attended the Esri Asia Pacific Users Conference (APUC) than New Zealand? Neither could we! Geoplex, our Australian business partner was one of the sponsors of the event last week and we were able to man the booth with Anthony Burgon and Rick Bailey. This was a great experience because most people at the show were unaware of how AGI’s analysis capabilities can be merged with the geospatial intelligence world. We showcased many areas where we bring solutions to the table, including maritime surveillance, search and rescue missions, communication antenna placement vs. coverage trade studies and we even spoke to conservation specialists about using STK to plan flight routes for UAVs that monitor forest health. Conference attendees who were familiar with STK were excited to see the new features of STK 10 and are looking forward to the release - tomorrow!
