INTELSAT 23 (IS-23) launch

A Proton-M launched from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on Sunday carrying Intelsat 23 to orbit. Intelsat 23 will replace Intelsat 707 and will help provide service to customers in the Americas, the Caribbean, Western Europe, and Africa. Intelsat 23 is expected to have a lifetime of over 18 years. The NORAD catalog (or SSC) number for Intelsat 23 is 38867 and will be available in the STK satellite database shortly. Stay up-to-date with the latest launches by subscribing to AGI Launch Notifications.
