AGI and Northrop Grumman are working together to bring 3-D Visualization Option to Global Command and Control
System-Maritime (GCCS-M). There is a need for 3-D visualization of tactical situation awareness information in
several key mission areas. Using a socket-based interface between GCCS-M and STK, a low-cost, tactical 3-D view
of the Common Operating Picture (COP) has been produced. The tactical 3-D Common Operating Picture (T3DCOP)
features synchronized 2-D and 3-D views of the battlespace. Application to air defense, mission planning, littoral
combat, and undersea visualization are all possible with T3DCOP since the information displayed is derived from
GCCS and the COP.
