STK/Analyzer automates STK trade studies and parametric analysis by blending the engineering analysis capabilities of Phoenix Integration, Inc.'s ModelCenter with AGI's STK software suite. Through its integration with the STK GUI and by using its own toolbars, STK/Analyzer eliminates the need for scripts or programming while providing engineers with the tools to answer questions such as:

What orbit will satisfy my mission requirements?

How does changing the timing of my maneuver affect my overall mission plan?

Can I perform a Monte Carlo analysis of my STK scenario?

... and more.

STK/Analyzer is easily incorporated into STK scenarios focusing on mission planning, real-time operations, and post-mission assessment—including analyses that utilize other STK modules such as STK/Coverage, STK/Communications, STK/Missile Modeling Tools (MFT and IFT), STK/Astrogator, and STK/Radar. Used in conjunction with its Optimizer extension, your design space can be even further optimized.

Other features include the ability to:

  • import STK scenario objects to build parametric representations of scenarios
  • perform trade studies on satellites, sensors, or aircraft.
  • automatically collect data from STK for use in trade studies, eliminating tedious trial and error methods

    Parametric study

    Varies one item over a range and studies the effects on various figures of merit that define performance.

    Carpet plot

    Permits the variation of two items over ranges and studies the resultant behavior of other parameters. Multiple response variables are also available.

    Design of experiments

    Varies multiple parameters using a table of runs and design-type algorithms to study the effects on numerous parameters.

    Probabilistic analysis

    Runs studies in Monte Carlo fashion. Output data can be analyzed and presented in histograms.

    Optimizer

    Systematically modifies variables in a scenario until some objective is achieved.

    Automation of analysis without programming or scripting

    Analytical trade studies are accessed through a UI-plugin interface, eliminating the need for scripting and programming and performing trade analysis with even greater ease.

    View and understand trends and relationships within STK scenarios

    Trade studies are set up to automatically collect data from STK. The resulting data trends can be visualized in the Data Explorer to better understand the behavior of the scenario.

    STK scenario compatibility

    STK scenarios can easily incorporate this module, including those that use STK/Astrogator, STK/Coverage, STK/Missile Modeling Tools (MFT and IFT), STK/Communications, and STK/Radar.

    High-fidelity outputs

AGI Data Federate requires the use of a FlexNET License Server to host your license.

Obtain the Host ID and the Hostname or IP Address:

  • Start All Programs/Accessories/Command Prompt. Right-click to 'Run as administrator'.
  • At the prompt, enter ipconfig /all
  • Under Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection, note:
    • Physical Address (Host id)
    • IPv4 Address (IP Address)
  • Send this to AGI Support (moc.iga@troppus), with the subject line "Request for ADF Licenses."

You will receive an e-mail containing

  1. ADF Server Installation download link
  2. Detailed instructions for installing the License Server.
  3. Users are provided two *.lic files; a server license file installed on the FlexNET License Server and a client license, installed during the AGI Data Federate Server installation.
