From launch to reentry, the maintenance, support, and day-to-day operations of a spacecraft become a factor for mission
success. STK supports real-time telemetry feeds through an open API interface that allows position, velocity, and attitude
information to be brought into STK "live" to monitor mission progress in an interactive 3-D environment. Along with the same
capabilities and tools used during the design and testing phases, mission operators can extend their analysis to real-time
operations that include:
- Real-time launch visualization and other critical events
- Enhanced real-time situational awareness
-
Orbit determination
- Tracking system design and schedule validation
- Covariance analysis
- Orbit maintenance and/or correction maneuvers
- Real-time visualization of sensor coverage
- Determination of available line of sight to ground stations using terrain and other constraints
- Analysis of dynamic link budgets
- On-orbit anomaly resolution
Orbit Determination Tool Kit (ODTK) determines and analyzes spacecraft orbits using satellite tracking system data. Its
sequential filter predicts satellite covariance for scheduled and unknown maneuver events for space safety analysis.
