By: RocketGirl
It's been another exciting week of launches! On Wednesday we saw the launch of a Soyuz-U from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, carrying Progress-M 23M on a fast trajectory to the International Space Station. The cargo craft carries propellant, oxygen, water, fresh food, medical supplies, hardware and other equipment needed for the ISS. The NORAD catalog (SSC)  number for this mission is 39648 and it is currently available in the STK Satellite Database. Also on Wednesday, Israel launched a Shavit-2 from the Palmachim test range, with the Ofeq 10 reconnaissance satellite. The satellite is equipped with a radar imaging platform and will provide high-resolution images. Finally, on Thursday we saw the launch of an Atlas 5 from Cape Canaveral with NROL-67. This is a classified satellite for the National Reconnaissance Office. The excitement continues next week with the launch of a Falcon 9 out of Cape Canaveral on Monday. The SpaceX launch vehicle will be carrying a Dragon cargo craft to the ISS. On Wednesday, a Soyuz is scheduled to lift off from Baikonur with EgyptSat 2, a remote sensing satellite.
