Most people consider this the "most wonderful time of the year" because it's back-to-school season. For me, this is the "most wonderful time of the year" because of the Space and Missile Defense Symposium
in Huntsville, AL. This time every year we all gather in Huntsville reveling in the blissfully oppressive heat (I know, I know. It's not the heat, it's the humidity) with the smell of missile defense in the air to talk about a subject that is near and dear to our hearts. Since we love this time of the year so much, AGI has decided to get the party started early with a Missile Defense Seminar
On Monday, August 12 from 9:00 a.m. until noon at the Westin, you can join me, fellow AGI'ers Gina Densler and Frank Snyder and SAIC greats Dr. Jay Farrell and Kara "Shea" Beard at AGI's Missile Defense Extravaganza! During these fun-filled three hours you'll get to hear from the SAIC developers of Missile Modeling Tools
how the software works, where we are headed with them in the future and ask those burning MMT questions you've been dying to know the answers to. Then I'll share with you how AGI software can be used for modeling, simulation and analysis
of missile defense systems with a demo of a raid situation in Israel. There will be GIS data, threat trajectories, radar analysis, communications analysis and maybe even some debris analysis (I don't want to give away too much)! Finally, Frank Snyder will be showing you how you can integrate STK analysis with MATLAB
(and vice versa). These are sure to be three thrilling missile defense hours that you don't want to miss!
So register now
and come and join myself, our Huntsville AGI'ers, and our extended family from SAIC for the best missile defense show in town (or at least the best one on Monday at 9:00 a.m. at the Westin)! Hope to see you there! NOTE: This is open to U.S. citizens only.
