Bringing technology to Singapore's current (and future) aerospace and defense professionals

AGI's presence in the Asia-Pacific region hasn't gone unnoticed. Aerospace Singapore recently profiled the company's contributions to Singapore's aerospace and defence industry, as well as the Singapore Space Challenge (SSC). The latter is an annual nationwide design competition that brings together teams of students from various engineering backgrounds to solve complex, real-word aerospace problems. AGI is the SSC 2011 official software sponsor. "We are now in our second year of providing software to the students for SSC ... the students have access to the same software that experienced engineers and programme managers use to design, develop and operate space assets," AGI said. Relative to Singapore's efforts in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), a Pennsylvania newspaper recently interviewed AGI's Human Resources Director, Lisa Velte, about a local high school that is using Singapore's curriculum to enhance its students' math skills.
