AGI's Cesium software and STK video experts at SIGGRAPH 2013

SIGGRAPH 2013, an international conference on computer graphics and interactive technology, kicks off next week in Anaheim CA. Representatives from AGI have attended the past several years, and this year we are excited to have our largest presence at SIGGRAPH to date! AGI’s Cesium team will be presenting/demoing this open source software at four different Birds of a Feather (BOF) sessions, as well as teaching a course on "Rendering Massive Virtual Worlds." Cesium will also be demoed in the AMD booth in the Exhibition hall. What is Cesium? Cesium is a Javascript library for creating 3D globes and 2D maps in a web browser, without a plugin. It uses WebGL for hardware-accelerated graphics, and is cross platform, cross-browser and turned for dynamic visualization. Cesium is open source under the Apache 2.0 license, and is free for commercial and non-commercial use. Attending SIGGRAPH and want to learn more about Cesium? Check out these sessions: Tuesday, July 23 Virtual Globes Using Web GL and Cesium BOF 11 a.m. - Noon ACM SIGGRAPH Carto BOF 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 24 COLLADA/gITF BOF 2:00 -2:55 p.m. WebGL BOF 6:00 - 6:55 p.m. Thursday, July 25 Rendering Massive Virtual Worlds (Course) 2:00 - 5:15 p.m. For session details, visit the Cesium blog here. This conference marks the fourth year that videos by the AGI Production team have been selected for presentation at the Dailies—nine videos in total! Hope to see you there!
