Command and control (C2) communications​

Model, visualize, and analyze the RF or optical communications between the multiple layers and systems that will comprise Golden Dome. Ansys solutions can help analyze pulse radiation and shielding for EMI/EMC, predict performance for antenna arrays, perform 3D electromagnetic modeling for Tx/Rx, and model antenna beamforming, null steering, among other things.​

Space-based interceptors

Model, visualize, and analyze ​systems and threats in a validated and high-fidelity orbital warfare environment. Understand tradeoffs on key design aspects, such as number of satellites, orbit types, DeltaV budgets, and more.

Threat and interceptor performance modeling​

Model any type of current or future threat and interceptor, including trajectories, aerothermodynamics, thermal behavior, structures and materials, propulsion systems and electronics cooling. ​ Address high-speed challenges such as aerothermodynamics, fluid thermal-structure interactions (FTSI), thermal protection systems (TPS), communication degradation and vehicle signatures.​

Tracking layer sensor simulation

Simulate and analyze EOIR sensors and radar systems against any threat profile. Generate synthetic scenes and target metrics such as SNR and radiance. Simulate SAR or search/track radar systems. Model monostatic, bistatic, or multifunction radars. Assess the impact of environmental conditions and interference or jamming. Consider near-field computations for as-installed performance or co-site interference. Compute realistic RCS and IR signatures. ​

Artificial intelligence

Ansys high-fidelity physics simulation solutions enable you to create realistic synthetic data sets to train your AI algorithms to recognize objects in EO, RF, Radar, and fused data scenarios.​ Ansys software allows you to train and validate reinforcement learning algorithms and perception algorithms for tracking, intercepting, and re-tasking scenarios.
