IAC 2019: the power of the past, the promise of the future

While we celebrate the 50-year anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission, we recognize the challenges facing the space industry today. For 70 years, the International Astronautical Congress (IAC) has been an important forum for universal discussion on space exploration. AGI looks forward to celebrating the space industry’s past and overcoming the obstacles of the future with the global community at IAC2019.

Visit AGI at booth 475 to discuss how our advanced space software can help accomplish your most ambitious space missions, along with live demonstrations from our partners Advanced Solutions Inc. (ASI), developer of STK SOLIS, and Valispace.

What you’ll discover with our team

STK Astrogator is used for interactive spacecraft maneuvers and trajectory design. Astrogator allows for finite, impulsive, and optimal finite modeling of complex maneuvers including rendezvous and proximity operations, station keeping, interplanetary, and low thrust. This video highlights the latest updates in Astrogator 11.7, including Circular Restricted 3-Body Problem support.
Learn how to use STK EOIR (Systems Tool Kit Electro-Optical/Infrared) for Space Situational Awareness (SSA) applications. In this example we compare satellite detection from different starting sensors against varying backgrounds.

Modeling and Risk Analysis Technical Session

Hear from SSA experts including AGI’s Dan Oltrogge and Dr. Salvatore Alfano as they present a deep dive on characterizing space debris population and assessing risk for in-orbit and on-ground systems. Read more here.

Dan Oltrogge, director of AGI's Center for Space Standards and Innovation, discusses the current and future state of the global space operations environment.
