Modeling and planning interactions between spacecraft is a nuanced and delicate science. Capturing an effective design of rendezvous and proximity operations (RPO) that represent the actual relative motion is challenging and time consuming. The best approach is to break the problem down into a series of fundamental steps, and this video series illustrates several independent RPO strategies that do just that. As you'll see, these strategies are modeled using a set of pre-built, customizable sequences included with STK's Astrogator capability. With these sequences, you can offset substantial spin-up overhead and rapidly design trajectories for successful and optimized RPO.
